Reformed Church of the Tarrytowns

We are so glad you took a moment to check out the Reformed Church of the Tarrytowns. Our church is steeped in legend and lore. The Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow is surely one of the most famous churches in all the land. Indeed, we receive visitors every year from all parts of the country and globe. The legend continues today with worship services, organ recitals, weddings, and the annual reading of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Mr. Ward Riley.

We are a church, however, not only focused on our past, but looking ahead to ways that we can continue the legend of service, community, and faith. Indeed, right now you can join with us in our efforts to raise support for ongoing relief efforts in Haiti. In the last three weeks we have raised over $5,000 and our children are in the process of assembling hygiene kits.

If more local service appeals to you, on February 20, our teens will be heading out on a Midnight Run to bring food, soup, coffee, and conversation to men and women living on the cold streets of New York City. If you are a teen, speak with me about participating … 631-4497. If you have warm clothing to donate, or toiletries, simply contact our office and we will make that donation easy.

Most of all, however, we want you to know that we are a living congregation. We honor Christ in joyful worship and fellowship and would be so delighted to have you join us one Sunday or more at 10:30 a.m. at 42 North Broadway in Tarrytown.
